Ira Stark
General Manager
Ira, a Thornhill native, has deep local roots and a passion for pickleball. He was there when Promenade Mall opened in 1986 and is now back with a mission to build a vibrant pickleball community at Pickleplex Promenade. As an NCCP Level 1 Certified Instructor, he’s eager to share the sport with players of all levels. When he’s not on the court, Ira enjoys family time, hiking, and fishing. Stop by and say hello!
Coach Jonathan Alpert
Head of Player Experience
Jonathan, a certified Level 2 pickleball coach and 4+ recreational player, transitioned to pickleball in 2021 after a lifetime of racquet and team sports. He’s built a thriving pickleball community in Vaughan through lessons, tournaments, and open play. With his energy and enthusiasm, Jonathan is eager to share the joy of pickleball with everyone—because for him, it’s more than just a sport!
