His journey into pickleball began unexpectedly—stepping in for a seniors’ group—but quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. Now a 4.0 doubles player and an NCCP Level 1 Certified Instructor, Darryl has built a reputation for fostering thriving pickleball communities.

His philosophy is simple: The best way to get to know someone is to play a game with them. Whether greeting members by name, playing alongside them, or organizing programming that balances inclusivity with competition, Darryl ensures that everyone feels a sense of belonging. He believes in equity, diversity, and inclusion, actively shaping club culture to reflect those values.

As a certified Level 2 coach, John has mentored beginners and elevated the game of intermediate players. With a solid 4.0+ recreational player ranking, he’s coached players at different levels to become tournament champions.

Having a Continuous Improvement background, John looks to address the root causes of opportunities in your game and helps highlight your strengths.

Leading FUN training sessions, John promotes skill development and strategic play, while ensuring every hit is made with intent and everyone is enjoying their pickleball experience.
