From the moment Manni picked up a pickleball paddle, he was hooked—not just on the game but on the incredible community that comes with it. What started as casual games with friends quickly turned into a passion for creating fun and competitive ways to play. From chalking lines and setting up multiple portable nets every Sunday at a park to eventually organizing drop-ins, leagues, and clinics across Toronto school gyms as Ready Pickleball Club, Manni has been dedicated to growing the pickleball community.

Now, as the Franchise Owner of Pickleplex Downsview Park, he’s taking it to the next level—building Toronto’s premier pickleball hub, where players of all levels can connect, compete, and grow. His vision is simple: to create a fun, friendly, fast, and fair pickleball community where everyone feels welcome, whether they’re picking up a paddle for the first time or competing at the highest level.

Beyond pickleball, Manni is a multi-sport athlete with a love for tennis, golf, hockey, ultimate frisbee, and beach volleyball. As a registered physiotherapist, he brings valuable expertise in injury prevention and treatment, helping players stay in peak condition. Pickleplex Downsview will also offer on-site physio and massage therapy, providing members with top-tier recovery and wellness services.
